Barry A. Kastner Joins Keltic Financial Services As Executive Vice President
June 15, 2011Tarrytown, NY—Keltic Financial Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Barry A. Kastner to its Executive Team. Mr. Kastner will hold the title of Executive Vice President-Corporate Development and be responsible for corporate growth through strategic planning and acquisitions. He will split his time between the corporate headquarters in Tarrytown, NY and his regional office in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Mr. Kastner joins the firm as a seasoned professional with more than 35 years of experience in commercial banking and asset based lending with roles in field examination, portfolio management, business development and senior management. His most recent position was Executive Vice President of TD Bank, N.A. where he served as Head of TD Bank’s Asset Finance Group. He previously served as Managing Director of Wachovia Capital Finance, which was the successor to Congress Financial Corp., where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, prior to the merger with Wachovia.

Mr. Kastner is a director of the Commercial Finance Association, where he serves on the Education Committee, and a past president of the New York Chapter. In 2003, Mr. Kastner received the Banking and Finance Distinguished Achievement Award from B’nai B’rith International. He was recently honored with the coveted 2011 Humanitarian Award at the New York Financial Industries Dinner; supporting National Jewish Health. Mr. Kastner is a frequent speaker and instructor on topics related to asset based finance. He is a graduate of Hofstra University, and attended graduate courses at New York University. He also holds three securities licenses.
