Underwriter

Title: Underwriter, Vice President

Salary Range: TBD

Location: Tarrytown, NY (5 days per week)

Experience: Five to Ten Years as a credit officer/underwriter, preferably with an asset based lending institution.

Job Description: Prepare and structure new business opportunities for credit approval.  Working closely with marketing officers and prospective clients to manage collateral due diligence, evaluate business plans, as well as management, industry trends and other risk factors.  Document and close the transaction once the transaction has been approved.  Work closely with the assigned credit officer and the operations manager to transition the client to the portfolio.

Education: Undergraduate and/or graduate degree from an accredited college or university.

Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Lotus and Lotus Notes.
